“We are delighted to present another 25 exciting companies from the Asia-Pacific region,” said Richard Youngman, CEO, Cleantech Group. “Innovators are pushing forward the technology frontiers and challenging the status quo, in pursuit of the ultimate goals of a cleaner and net zero global economy.”

“By 2050, about 50% of the world's population will face water problems. It will be key for start-ups like ours to collaborate with industry players and local governments to work on urgent solutions to this global challenge. We hope that being named on a global list like the APAC Cleantech 25 will help us reach a wider audience and those who share our vision," said Narayan Lal Gurjar, Founder and CEO of EF Polymer.

In addition to the agricultural sector, EF Polymer is actively considering collaborations with industries and companies that manufacture and use conventional chemically-derived superabsorbent polymer (SAP), such as for diapers, sanitary napkins, ice packs, cosmetics, etc. The company will continue to work with related companies and support sustainable business transformations to further promote polymer products that are fully organic and biodegradable.
