EF Polymer Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Kunigami-gun, Okinawa/ Founder and CEO: Narayan Lal Gharjar; hereinafter “EF Polymer”), which develops 100% organic super absorbent polymers, recently participated in the ICC Summit KYOTO, won the “Realtech Catapult”, and received the Grand Prix at the “Design & Innovation Awards.”

What is the ICC summit

The Industry Co-Creation® (ICC) summit is “Learn together and create industries together.” It's a place for that. More than 400 people take the stage every time, and a total of over 1,000 people participate, and it is an extreme conference for participants to have serious discussions and learn from each other from morning to night.

This time, EF Polymer participated in the pitch contest “Realtech Catapult” at the ICC Summit held at the Westin Miyako Hotel Kyoto from 9/5 to 7 and the “Design Innovation Award” where various companies developed booths.

• “Realtech Catapult”will give presentations for 7 minutes per company to judges composed of managers, executives, investors, and professionals active at the forefront of various industries. At Realtech Catapult, a pitch contest where people in charge of new businesses from venture companies and major companies make presentations in 7 minutes, 7 target companies participated, and EF Polymer won the championship.
• “Design & Innovation Awards”Judges will visit and experience the booths of 11 companies with products and services full of design and innovation, and vote from the viewpoints of innovation (innovation), feelings and empathy, craftsmanship (Artisan), marketability (business impact), and sociality (sustainability). EF Polymer advanced to the final round and won the Grand Prix.
