EF Polymer participated in the THRIVE Global Impact Summit held from 11/6 to 11/7 in Silicon Valley in the US, and we won the overall championship in the Global Impact Challenge pitch competition.
About THRIVE Global Impact Summit
THRIVE Global Impact Summit is one of the world's leading events where more than 500 people, including business executives, investors, and startup companies from North America, Europe, APAC, etc. participate, focusing on advanced products and services in the agriculture and agri-food fields. It is hosted by SVG Ventures, and global companies such as Kagome, Kubota, Intel, Bayer, and BASF are participating as partner companies.
In the 2024 THRIVE Global Impact Challenge, 15 finalists were selected from over 1,000 applications from over 100 countries in September, and a finalist pitch competition was held in Silicon Valley this time. COO Shimoji Kunitaku from EF Polymer and the US sales team participated in the pitch competition in the “Cleantech: Water & Energy” category and received the overall championship and category award. In the future, EF Polymer will plan large-scale demonstration tests in collaboration with companies that have built relationships, and aim to establish product efficacy and usage in the US market.
