About the Deep Tech Startup Support Fund/Deep Tech Startup Support Project (DTSU)
NEDO conducts an open call throughout the year for the subsidy project with the title, targeting “deep tech startups,” which require long-term research and development and large-scale funding until technology establishment, commercialization, and social implementation, and are working on research and development of innovative technologies that are thought to contribute to solving economic and social issues that should be addressed by countries and the world as a whole, and the public offering is conducted about 4 times a year. Cooperation with VCs, etc. and the use of stage gate examinations are incorporated into the system, and support for practical application research and development, mass production demonstration, overseas technology verification, etc. is carried out from a long-term perspective.
EF Polymer was selected as the PCA phase (practical application research and development (late stage)) in this project, which consists of 3 phases with different grant rates and grant amounts.
