Even in Japan, where water is often thought to be abundant, in fact, recent droughts are spreading due to the effects of climate change. Also, the environment surrounding agriculture is becoming more severe day by day, as fertilizer prices soar due to the international situation. In this article, the characteristics and initiatives of EF polymers are summarized based on domestic experimental results using EF polymers, such as measures against water shortages, reduction of irrigation labor, reduction of chemical fertilizer, and reduction of diseases.
