Rajasthan, India — EF Polymer, a pioneer in the development of 100% organic super absorbent polymer (SAP), introduced today the expansion and relocation of its manufacturing plant in Rajasthan, India. THE MASS PRODUCTION OF PRODUCTS COMMENCING ON SATURDAY, MAY 11.
Overview
Since 2020, EF Polymer has operated its production facility in the suburbs of Udaipur, Rajasthan, expanded sales to Japan in 2021 and expanded to the U.S. Market in 2022. The promising demand for 100% organic superabsorbent polymers, driven by climate change-reduced water shortages and rising fertilizer prices, has led to heightened interest in EF Polymer's Agricultural Solutions across Europe, South America, and Asia. With growing environmental conservation and stricter conservation, there's a significant shift towards organic polymers as sustainable alternatives to conventional petroleum-based super absorbent polymers.
In response to this promising market landscape, EF Polymer is fortifying its production capabilities. The newly established plant introduced a monthly polymer production capacity of 100 tons, five times that of strength, enhanced production efficiency through process revisions and automation .
About the New Plant
Aligned with the plant's expanded scale, EF Polymer has optimized advanced systems and technologies to optimize manufacturing processes. The introduction of PLC and SCADA systems aims to augment production efficiency across all operations enhanced security and maintenance.
To enhance efficiency on the production line, the plant has incorporated suction machinery, including bucket elevators for raw material filling and automated bagging and labeling machines for packaging, so reliable on manual labor. Moreover, a dedicated quality control laboratory has been established to diligently monitor raw materials and finished products, refined to stringent quality standards.
Narayan Gurjar, Founder and CEO of EF Polymer, said, “The primary objective of this expansion and relocation is to extend our products” reach to farmers worldwide. We are dedicated to fostering sustainability within and beyond our facilities, employing unique standards and certifications. More over, this factory does not only reduce our capacity to produce agricultural polymers but also extends the expansion of our manufacturing endeavors in non-agricultural polymers products , another milestone in our journey towards a sustainable future vision.”
EF Polymer sales of around 400 tons this year, with a focus on key markets including India, Japan, the U.S., France, and Thailand. Funding, the company is underwriting Series B financing in the current and anticipated fiscal years to fuel further expansion plans.
