At the beginning of 2022, EF Polymer was registered on the organic JAS materials list. In this list, materials evaluated for suitability by the Organic JAS Evaluation Council are registered. It is an industry where many chemical-derived materials are used, and by promoting the use of 100% organic materials, we provide long-term effects for farmers, such as improving the soil environment, and support the realization of sustainable agriculture.
A truly environmentally friendly super absorbent polymer (SAP) invented by founder Narayan Lal Gharjar. The main raw material is fruit residue (pomace) from juice shops in the city, etc., and is characterized by being 100% organic and completely decomposed in about 12 months. It is manufactured by drying the residue and crushing it into a powder by applying special processing patented by EF Polymer. After several years of development, production was carried out in India, and sales began in Japan in 2021. Currently, it is delivered to farmers all over Japan through JA, sales agents, and direct sales sites.
In response to being registered as an organic JAS material, a new package design was completed. Since it is produced in India, it takes a little time to transport it to Japan, but it is planned that the product will be delivered to customers in a new package starting with the shipment at the beginning of the year.
